April 30, 2024 - My Favorite Site!

 Please search out an English website that you like to use! It can be news, sports, music or anything else you would like! Please write a post on your page, in 100 words or more about that site and why you like it. Link to the English site on your page too. Then post on this page the link to your writing for this week.


The website MUST be written in English by a human being. No Japanese sites and nothing translated with a computer/google. The site  MUST be a constatnly updating "blog style" site, like the one we are making and you see in my example. It can not be service sites like Amazon, Yahoo, Youtube,  Facebook, Twitter (X), Kakaku, etc.


One of my favorite sites is called "Mac Rumors" Here is the link. Please click it!! This site keeps Apple fans up to date with the latest news that is going on in the world of Macs, iPhones, iPads and other stuff.  I am a huge Apple fan and so I want to know what the latest news always is. However, Apple is very secretive, so many of the news stories are rumors from industry people. For example, if somebody notices that a company is making LCD screens very quickly, it could mean a new iPad is coming. Of course right before new releases, the site is more active. Right now the news front is pretty calm but there are still things happening every day.

October 29, 2024 - Mid Term Long Form Assignment.

     Let's talk about games! I have been playing games all my life, ever since I got a home version of Pac-Man for Christmas all the way back in 1982!! I don't play games very often, and honestly I only play old-style games. Ones that are short and simple to learn. I don't have infinite time (like you) to play games all weekend! October 22, 2024 - Halloween is Coming!!

 The assignment for October 29th is very long, because it is like a test. Please finish the assignment online by October 29th at 5:30 p.m. Earlier is ok!      You do not have to come to class on October 29!   10月29日の課題はテストのようなものなのでとても長いです。 10 月 29 日の午後 5 時 30 分までにオンラインで課題を完了してください。 早めでも大丈夫ですよ！   Halloween is next week! Yay! So lets learn about Halloween! Please research events in Japan happening between now and Oct 31. Please look for things that are announced on social media. October 8, 2024 - Getting Sick!!

     Getting sick!   Yes, it is that time of year! People start getting cold and flu! Please search online in English for sites and blogs that give helpful advice and tips for how to keep healthy in the fall and wintertime (no videos)     Than write in 50 words or more your opinion about the links you found. Please include website links. Please do not talk about corona, just general health. My example: Oh no! cold and flu season is almost here! But do not worry, I have some secrets that can help you. I am going to eat lots of vegetables, because they fight off illness. I will also get lots of  Vitamin D, from being out in the sunshine, and from pills, this helps keep you awake and your mind clear. I will also wash my hands a lot to kill germs and avoid spreading them. How did I learn all this? From a great site online!
