May 7, 2024 - Memories of Golden Week

 How was your holiday? Please write about the events of your Golden Week in 50 words or more.

 

My example:


My Golden Week is very fun and interesting. I did not do something on every single day, but I did some enjoyable things when I had time.

On Tuesday, April 30th, I stayed home, and cleaned up the house. It was nice to not be busy for a change!

However, on Thursday May 2, I have to go to school! Why? Because May 2nd was NOT a national holiday and so the school (Saitama University) was open! 

Then on May 4th, I will go out with some friends. We will have a BBQ outside in the park.

On May 6th I went to see my family. I have not seen them in a long time. It will be nice to talk to everyone. 

Every day all week, I walked around looking at all the Koi Nobori flags. I actually had a great shutter chance because Mt. Fuji came into view and the picture I took was just wonderful.



Then the rest of the days I plan to stay home, studied or played games. I was very happy to relax, refresh and have a wonderful time!


That's all for now, but I hope to have a nice time again as the summer unfolds.

July 23, 2024 - End of Semester Long Form Assignment

  Because it is very hot, I will allow you to stay home and do the assignment for the rest of July. The post will appear online, on Monday (our class is Tuesday) please have it finished by 18:15 on Tuesday morning of each week.    You must return to class in person in September. New people might join the class too. If you want to invite a friend, that would be nice! この授業の後、とても暑いので、7 月の残りの期間は家にいて課題に取り組むことを許可します。投稿は月曜日にオンラインで公開されます (授業は火曜日です)。毎週火曜日の朝 18:15 までに終わらせてください。 9 月には直接授業に戻ってください。新しい人もクラスに参加するかもしれません。友達を招待したいなら、それはいいことです! July 2, 2024 - Tanabata!

 Sunday,  July 7th is Tanabata! It is a wonderful festival in Japan in the summer time. Please watch this short video about Tanabata and write about what you learned. then, write some more about your opinions of the festival and if you have/had plans for this year's Tanabata.  Because it is very hot, I will allow you to stay home and do the assignment for the rest of July.
